Athens-based post-sludge-metal band Allochiria will release their third full-length album “Commotion” on April 23rd via Venerate Industries.
Having formed in 2008, Allochiria have released one self-titled EP and two full-length albums, Omonoia (2014) and Throes (Art of Propaganda, 2017), which were all met with great critical acclaim and allowed them to play alongside bands like Amenra, Deafheaven, Year of No Light, Altar of Plagues, Toundra, etc…
Often mentioned alongside bands like Neurosis, Amenra, ISIS and Cult of Luna, Allochiria’s music is equally emotional, intense and heavy and the lyrical content revolves around humans as social beings, the corruption that defines them in modern societies, their vain struggles, painful routines and the consequences of their actions in the world around them.
