Norway’s avant-garde black metal innovators Borknagar are making their long-overdue return to North America stages as part of the “Devastation Of The Nation” tour with Rotting Christ, Abigail Williams, Ghost Bath, Vale Of Pnath, and Stormruler for a comprehensive tour starting next week, April 21stin Berkeley and ending a month later, on May 22nd in Los Angeles.
Borknagar founder and mastermind Øystein G. Brun states:
“The past two years have been tough, tough for all of us. But after almost two years in the dark, due to international travel restrictions and lock-downs that have made international touring impossible, the sun seems to be back to shine upon us. As I write this we are in the final stages of preparations to the “Devastation Of The Nation” tour across the whole of the USA and Canada with our friends in Rotting Christ, Abigail Williams, Ghost Bath, Vale Of Pnath and Stormruler.”
Brun adds:
“After delays and eventually a cancellation of this tour in 2020 due to the pandemic, we are so stoked and excited to finally be able get going. It has been a rugged road and we could not have done this without our loyal and persistant partners such as: Ruben @ Talentnation, Daniel @ Devastation of the Nation tour, Marc @ Play America and Christine @ Fountain Feller Group Inc. and last but not least the support by Music Norway.
