Spectacular guest musicians have a long tradition at Dawn Of Destiny. In addition to the great Jon Oliva (Savatage), Mats Leven (Therion, Candlemass), Björn Speed Strid (Soilwork) and Zak Stevens (also Savatage), there is now – on the new album “Of Silence” – Chris Harms, the Lord Of The Lost himself on board. The frontman, who is currently on tour with Iron Maiden with his band Lord Of The Lost, has given the song “Childhood” his own personal charm. A first audio sample will soon be available on the El Puerto Records Facebook page before the new album will be released on June 24th, 2022.
Dawn Of Destiny band leader Jens Faber is enthusiastic:
“Actually I wanted to sing the song myself, but after the first demo it seemed like it was made for Chris. I sent him the song and he immediately agreed. Actually quite simple. What he then made of it blew us all away totally.”
“Of Silence” includes 13 brand new songs, all written by mastermind Jens Faber. Mix and mastering was done by Dennis Köhne. The fans can look forward to a playing time of over an hour.
In more than 15 years, the metal band from Bochum will release their eighth album these days, which has something special in store for fans: the strictly limited first edition of this album!
