American doom groove metal band, Hereafter, have released their debut EP, “Fires of the Flame,” via Sonic Velocity Records.
Hereafter features vocalist Chris Natalini (former Blood Feast), drummer Mad T (Corners of Sanctuary), bassist Robert Bigler (Burned in Effigy) and guitarist/producer Mick Michaels (Corners of Sanctuary). The group started working together during the early part of the pandemic.
“Devil By Your Side” is the EP’s first single and can be heard here:
Hereafter is a melodically charged mixture of guitar driven force, rhythmically pungent drums, a bottomless pit of explosive bass topped off with a mass load of razor sharp vocals. “Fires of the Flame” superbly exudes this band’s writing ability to seamlessly capture a subtle level of intensity threaded together with a natural flow of musicality and grace which many critics today feel is now missing in modern music.
Guitarist/producer Mick Michaels said:
“The initial response has been very positive. It’s inspiring…especially for an EP that started out as something for a few friends to do during the pandemic…but it evolved into so much more…I’m excited about it.”
Hereafter demonstrates and delivers their own methodical twist of Metal for fans to experience and sink their teeth into. A mixture of sounds and styles has flawlessly been executed to create a unique flavor and presence to give “Fires of the Flame” its own exclusive edge and appeal.
Hereafter vocalist Chris Natalini said:
“It’s definitely different… Much more different than what I’ve done before…but it proved to be more than just a side project like Mick said; it became a different kind of something.”
“Fires of the Flame” is now available digitally via Sonic Velocity Records on Spotify, Apple Music, Deezer, iTunes, YouTube Music and Amazon among many other online platforms.
