Metal Vrau in reverence to the Norse Gods

Following the tradition of always supporting/promoting the rich Brazilian Metal scene and its musicians, Metal Vrau is pleased to launch on its channel the monstrous “collab” that the band Amon Amarth Brazilian Tribute made for the classic song “For Victory Or Death”, originally featured on the critically acclaimed album “Surtur Rising”, released in 2011 by the Swedish giants, Amon Amarth!

Watch the Amon Amarth Brazilian Tribute’s collab version for “For Victory Or Death” below.

The heavyweight monsters that participated in this “collab” were:

Marccos Chaves – guitars  (Amon Amarth Brazilian Tribute/King Bird)
André Martins – bass  (Amon Amarth Brazilian Tribute/Hatematter)
Lucas Emidio – drums(Amon Amarth Brazilian Tribute/Hatematter)

Each musician captured their own sound and footage.

Produced, mixed and mastered by Marccos Chaves.

 Rafael Pacheco states:

“These guys are great musicians! For sure, if Amon Amarth guys watch this video, they will be proud as I am! Hands up for these Brazilian ‘Norsemen’.”

Metal Vrau channel on YouTube based in Sao Paulo, Brazil, founded in May 2018 by musicians, guitarists and longtime friends, Rafael Pacheco and Sandro “Murdok”, in order to enhance the style they love so much, Heavy Metal in all its aspects and sub-genres, devoid of prejudice and with good doses of humor. The purpose of the channel is to present not only collaborative videos with great musicians from the Brazilian metal scene and pay homage to national and worldwide giants of Rock/Metal, but also “playthroughs” of self made material from the duo and other bands, interviews with important personalities within the style, special participation, reviews and personal opinions about instruments, all very well produced and maintaining respect and extremely good taste. Unfortunately, after three years on the channel, Sandro “Murdok” had to leave amicably to dedicate himself to other personal and professional projects, but Rafael Pacheco will continue with his firm and strong legacy!

Rafael Pacheco, born in Sao Paulo, 33 years old, systems developer and analyst, has been playing the both electric and acoustic guitars since he was 14 years old and has had lessons with six-string masters such as Orival Castelo (acoustic guitar) and Homero Bittencourt (electric guitar). Currently, he plays in the cover bands Sons Of Judas (Judas Priest), Empire (Queensrÿche) and Untrusted who are still in their embryonic phase. His guitar influences are big names like Mark Morton, Yngwie Malmsteen, Nuno Bettencourt, Richie Kotzen, Reb Beach, Doug Aldrich, Jon Petrucci, Jason Becker, Marty Friedman, Kiko Loureiro, Edu Ardanuy, Jeff Loomis, Keith Merrow, Ola Englund, among others.
