The song cunningly maneuvers through subjects such as power, exploitation, greed, and inner conflicts.
Gentle Beast pulled a “Weekend at Bernie’s” with one of their members in the music video of “Toxic Times”. While staying true to the band’s stoner rock roots, the video features an absurd yet entertaining storyline involving a tragic death, a burial with beer, a wild chase through the woods, violent threats of death, and signals a significant line-up change.
