Born A Rebel are back with a fireworks display of political progressive metal. “I am the Flame” is the name of the new single, which perfectly fuses djent, synth sounds, rap and fast guitar solo playing like no other formation.

At the beginning of spring, the band reminds us of people’s aspirations for stability, freedom, social peace, equal opportunities, equal rights and political participation, as propagated by the protesters of the Arab Spring.

The band from the capital Berlin is currently writing new songs and, in addition to performances in the region, is planning concerts in other European countries in the second half of the year. First stop is Liepaja, Latvia on July 27th. Further concerts are planned in Helsinki, Finland, and Valencia, Spain.
