Swedish black metal legends Marduk are hitting the road for the third time to promote their latest album, “Memento Mori”, which came out in September 2023 via Century Media Records. Still driven by founding member Morgan Steinmeyer Håkansson (aka Evil), with Mortuus (Daniel Rostén) on vocals and Bloodhammer on drums, these guys keep bringing that fierce mix of black and death metal. Since 1990, Marduk has been one of the toughest, no-nonsense bands in extreme metal and they’re showing no signs of slowing down.
The “Memento Mori Part III” European tour will see the band perform across multiple cities throughout the continent. Fans can expect an intense set featuring tracks from the new album alongside classic Marduk anthems. Supporting the band on this tour are Dutch black metal group Doodswens, French rising stars Sumus Diabolus Incarnatus with their acclaimed debut “Les louanges de Baël – Livre 1”, and Portuguese one-man project Irae, promoting “Assim na Terra como no Inferno”.
Following the European dates, Marduk will continue their live assault with a Turkey tour in April, playing Izmir’s Sold Out Performance Hall on the 13th, Istanbul’s IF Performance Hall Beşiktaş on the 14th and Ankara’s Milyon Performance Hall on the 15th.
Summer 2025 will be packed with festival appearances across Europe. The tour kicks off on June 18th at Nummirock in Finland, followed by a show on June 25th at Basinfire Fest in the Czech Republic. July features several festivals, starting with Under The Black Sun on July 3rd in Germany, then In Flammen Open Air on July 10th, followed by Kanekas Metal Fest on July 25th in Spain and Rockstadt Extreme Fest on July 30th in Romania. In August, the band will perform at Hellsinki Metal Festival on August 8th, then from August 21st through 23rd at both Kaltenbach Open Air in Austria and Wolfszeit Festival in Germany.
All confirmed shows are listed on the poster below. Mark your calendars and get ready to experience the darker realms of black metal with Marduk’s “Memento Mori Part III” tour and their extensive live performances throughout 2025.
