Austere drop new single "Storm Within My Heart"

Ahead of their upcoming Australian tour, Austere premiere the final advance single “Storm Within My Heart” from their highly anticipated new full-length album “The Stillness of Dissolution”. The black and dark metal duo from Wollongong, New South Wales, will unveil the album in full on June 6th, 2025.

Multi-instrumentalist and vocalist Mitchell Keepin shares insight into the track:
“We wrote ‘Storm Within My Heart’ as one of the final songs for the album, and it probably comes the closest to a ‘black metal’ sound. Its lyrics hold themes about being tethered and tied under control and, whilst aware of it, unable to break free due to being an honourable individual and holding to one’s own heart. The song depicts a person at battle with himself, yet who won’t yield to his conviction.”
