Austere drop new single "Redolent Foulness"

Australian black and dark metal duo, Austere, have released their latest single, “Redolent Foulness”, a relentless yet unexpectedly melodic track that showcases a new dimension of the band’s evolving sound. Carried by hauntingly clean vocals and atmospheric intensity, the track offers a glimpse into their forthcoming fifth full-length album, “The Stillness of Dissolution”, set for release on June 6th.

Hailing from Wollongong, New South Wales, Austere continue to push their creative boundaries while staying true to their emotionally raw core.

Drummer and vocalist Tim Yatras shares the inspiration behind the track:
“We wrote ‘Redolent Foulness’ as the final song for the album, and it explores some new musical territory for Austere. The lyrics reflect on the passage of time and the confronting realization of life’s insignificance. It captures the paradox of feeling that time is fleeting while simultaneously being trapped within one’s own existence.”
