Airborn announce their new album with “Kings Of Melody”, a perfect opening track that sweeps you away into their universe of adventure on thunderous drums, spiralling guitars and unforgettable choruses. There’s no looking back from that point on as the superb voice of Alessio Perardi, with great range and tone, delivering each note with apparent ease, leads us on into the likes of the wonderfully addictive “Futuremaker”. It quickly becomes apparent that not only do Airborn possess an innate ability for producing exquisite melodic metal, but they have outdone themselves with this album. Every track has individual characteristics that make it stand out from those around it, make it an event in its own right: be it the classic melodic power metal of first single, “Soldiers Of Misfortune”, the dark drama and remarkable guitar work of “Skeleton Crew” or the instantly engaging “Magic Bullet”.
