Tunisian-French oriental professive metal band Myrath will play in Belgrade for the first time on the 18th or April and Zappa Barka, courtesy of Hengtajm agency, with support from Hungarian band Roses of thieves, after impressing Serbian public supporting Alestorm in December.
Myrath was officialy formed under that name in 2006, releasing their debut album a year later in 2007. While Hope gathered some critical acclaim, it wasn’t until 2010 and 2011 with their albums “Desert Call” and “Tales of the sands” featuring their specific oriental folk style called Blazing desert metal mixed with progressive metal influences that really solidified their status as major attractions on the music scene. Myrath are promoting their latest album, releasing on the 27th of March, called “Wilderness of mirrors” in which they explore musical influences from the African continent.
