Basel based “obscure old school beehive black metal” sensation Vigljos are coming to Belgrade on the 9th of October at SKC Baza, courtesy of Nekroskop booking agency with regular black metal Oskrnavitelj opening as local support.
Vigljos came as a surprise to everyone in 2024 after releasing their self-titled music video one year after forming. Lyrically centered around the most important insects, plants and medieval history with their latest music video “The rot” featuring the monastic complex of Isenheim and the Isenhein altar, the work of Matthias Grunewald, depicting hallucinogenic experiences in the late medieval times. Vigljos are currently on tour promoting their second album “Tome II: Ignis Sacer”, released on the 19th of September this year, a continuation of their debut album “Time I: Apidae” from last year.
Opening for Vigljos is Oskrnavitelj, a 90’s influenced Belgrade based black metal band with one album under their belt “Pravdani” released in 2022.
