Slayer co-founder and guitarist Kerry King is bringing the heat to Europe in 2025 with a full-scale solo tour supporting his debut album “From Hell I Rise”, which features an in-depth review available here. This marks King’s second full European solo venture since launching his new project.

The tour kicks off July 29th in Frankfurt, Germany, and spans nearly a dozen countries. It will include both headlining club shows and major festival appearances across the continent. Standout festival stops include Rockstadt Extreme in Romania, Brutal Assault in the Czech Republic, Alcatraz Festival in Belgium, and Motocultor in France. Additionally, King’s band will support metal giants Gojira in Krakow, Poland, on August 19th at Tauron Arena.

King’s solo band features an impressive lineup: vocalist Mark Osegueda (Death Angel), guitarist Phil Demmel (ex-Machine Head), bassist Kyle Sanders (Hellyeah), and longtime Slayer drummer Paul Bostaph.

Reflecting on his return to the stage, King shared:
“Getting back on the road for the first time in five years wasn’t exactly like riding a bike, that’s for sure. I’ve never had that much time off. The first tours with my new band in the U.K. and Europe, and then in America with Lamb of God and Mastodon, were all total blasts.”

He added that the upcoming European headlining run will offer fans an extended setlist, including deeper cuts from his solo album and a few surprises:
“We’ll be headlining on this next tour, so we’re playing a longer set than we did with Lamb of God and Mastodon. We’ve got a little bit of a learning curve, so we’ll start rehearsing the first week of November. And we might put an extra Slayer song into the set and learn a cover song or two.”

All announced tour dates so far can be viewed in the poster below!
