Stockholm’s masters of atmospheric metal, Katatonia, have unveiled their ambitious plans for a 2025 European and UK tour, set to bring their moody soundscapes to fans across the continent this fall. The 31-date trek will begin in Tampere, Finland, on November 11th, weaving through cities from Istanbul to Milan before concluding in their hometown of Stockholm on December 20th.

The tour, dubbed “Waking State of Europe”, promises an immersive experience for long-time followers and new listeners alike. Joining Katatonia on the road are Sweden’s progressive metal stalwarts Evergrey and Italian alt-metal outfit Klogr, forming a powerhouse lineup sure to resonate with fans of introspective and emotionally charged music.

Before hitting the road this autumn, Katatonia will make several key festival appearances during the summer. Highlights include performances at Castle Rock Festival in Germany on July 5th, Headbangers’ Weekend in Turkey on July 6th and Rockstadt Extreme Fest in Romania on July 30th, giving audiences a taste of what’s to come.

Frontman Jonas Renkse shared his enthusiasm about the upcoming tour:
“We’ve got something special planned for this run. Teaming up with Evergrey and Klogr means this will be one of the most dynamic and emotionally heavy lineups we’ve ever been a part of. Can’t wait to bring this to the stage.”

Tickets for all dates go on sale Friday, March 14th at 10 AM GMT / 11 AM CET. Many shows are expected to sell out quickly. For full details and ticket information, click here.
