Birmingham based Esoteric are bringing their signature funeral doom live show to Belgrade on the 18th of October at Dom omladine, courtesy of Nekroskop booking agency. Esoteric was formed in the early nineties in the working city of Birmingham, an important place in heavy metal history, influenced by early death metal bands and progressive rock and doom style lyrics and riffs from their hometown heroes Black Sabbath. After having their breakthrough in the early 2000s, the band started touring extensively with a complete line up capable of emulating the complexity of their studio recordings, while releasing albums, the latest of which “A pyrrhic existence” came out in 2019. for Seasons of the mist label.
Local support will come from Novi sad and Niš respectfully with nihilists Plamen večnosti and downtuned slow chugging southerners The Bloody Earth.
