Wisconsin based death metal band “Jungle Rot” sets date for a Belgrade show on the 8th of July at Zappa Barka during their summer tour across Europe with support from German duo “Rats of Gomorrah”, thanks to “MM concerts” and “Serbian Hellbangers”.

“Jungle Rot” was founded in 1992 in Kenosha, so far they have released 11 albums, their debut “Skin the living” released in 1996, while their latest “A call to arms” was released in 2022. They are frequent guests of extreme metal festivals across Europe and USA, bringing the visceral and extreme sound with them everywhere they go. Original member Dave Matrise is on rhythm guitar and vocal duties, joined by James Genenz on bass guitar, Geoff Bub on lead guitar and Spenser Syphers on drums.

“Rats of Gomorrah” meanwhile are a new addition to the extreme metal scene, founded in 2023 with just a single studio album under their belt, “Infectious vermin” released last year and two singles in 2024. Duo consists of Daniel Stelling on guitars and vocals and Moritz Paulsen on drums. With just two members on stage, teir performances have been described as a blend of lucid energy and unexpected variations.
