With just a month remaining until the one of the most anticipating metal concerts in Belgrade this year, organisers “Strangefear” announced that as local support acts “Quasarborn” and “Nadimač” are opening for the speed thrash metal veterans “Anthrax” on the 29th of May.
“Quasarborn” have quickly risen as one of the most exciting names in the Balkan metal underground. Formed in 2016 by former members of “Space Eater”, the band gained attention with their debut album “The Odyssey to Room 101” released in 2018. Their 2023 release, “Novo oružje protiv” bola, further cemented their reputation for blending thrash, progressive, and alternative influences into a fresh and dynamic sound.
Belgrade-based “Nadimač” have been a cornerstone of the regional crossover thrash scene since their formation in 2003. With a raw, aggressive style and a loyal fanbase, the band has built a reputation through relentless live performances and a consistent discography. From 2007’s “Vukodlak Metal” to 2020’s “Raspad sistema”, “Nadimač” have remained true to their uncompromising sound, making them one of the most respected underground acts in the Balkans.
