Legendary Japanese trio “Boris” will have there first concert in Serbia on the 8th of October at “Dorćol platz“ thanks to “Apolovx” and “Doomstar booking”.
As part of their tour for the 20th anniversary of release of album “PINK”, the trio that has been active for more then three decades. “Boris” was founded in Tokyo in 1992 and were one of the multidisciplinary groups that communicate and play for metal, art rock, noise and indie fans who understand the heaviness of their music that combines doom, drone, shoegaze, noise rock, punk and psychedelic elements.
“Boris” has collaborated with “Merzbow”, “Sun O)))” and Keiji Haino and released their albums for “Southern lord”, “Hydra head”, “Sacred bones” and “Third man”, also released the sountrack for “The limits of control” film by Jim Jarmusch.
“Pink” was released in Japan in 2005, and internationally a year later through “Southern lord” and that album was a made in a moment where all the different expressions of the band members sounded like they shared the same nervous system: a doom like obsession with amps, the rush of a garage punk, shoegaze wall of sound, the momentum of a biker and feedback that lingers in the air.
